When using Calman to calibrate a separate Mac computer, Calman can connect to Patterns™ in two modes:
- Using Patterns™ as a test pattern source.
- Using Patterns™ as a display device for ICC profile generation
To connect Calman to use Patterns™ as a test pattern source:
- On the Calman Source Settings tab, click the Find Source button.
- On the popup Find Source dialog, under Manufacturer, select Portrait Displays Under Model, select Patterns
- In the IP Address of the Mac running Patterns™
- At launch, Patterns™ provides a list of available IP Addresses. If this window has been closed, go to the Patterns™ menu and select Show IP.
- Click Connect.
To connect Calman to use Patterns™ for display control:
- On the Calman Display Control tab, click the Find Display button.
- On the popup Find Display dialog, under Manufacturer, select Portrait Displays Under Model, select Patterns
- In the IP Address of the Mac running Patterns™
- At launch, Patterns™ provides a list of available IP Addresses. If this window has been closed, go to the Patterns™ menu and select Show IP.
- Click Connect.
